Ugh, Monday…we meet again.
I am actually really glad I started this regular little column because it is obvious I need a big old dose of “glass half full” come every single Monday morning.
Is it just me? Please say it’s not just me.
I know it’s a sign of a million things I should change in my life, blah blah blah, but for now, here are five things that I am excited about this week…much easier to tackle

One of my oldest friends from high school (who lives thousands of miles away in Toronto) is in China as we speak, meeting her new son for the very first time. After years of baby-making struggles and a long adoption process, she has finally found her yellow brick road and it has led her family happily home…to each other.
We are running away this weekend to the desert. Happy Mother’s Day to me!
